The state of Missouri has recently made changes to their immunization requirements for school. This change will impact students who will be entering 8th and 12th grade next school year. 8th graders: Will need to have a Tdap AND a Meningitis vaccine 12th graders: Will need to have 2 doses of the Meningitis vaccine UNLESS the first dose was given on or after their 16th birthday, then only one dose is needed. Students can get these immunizations at the Bates County Health Department or their physician’s office. Proof of immunizations will need to be provided before your student can start back to school in August. Do not wait - get these now!

Good morning Bears! If you are a summer Health / Personal Finance student through Launch it is very important that you log on and complete at least one assignment for each course by the end of the day. Failure to do so will result in a drop from the course and a 50 dollar fee. If you need help logging on your device or have any concerns with the content, please call the school and the counseling department will help you. Thank you so much for being on time for device pick up! You can do it! Have a great summer. If your child is not taking these courses, please disregard the alert.
