Girls Golf: Butler Lady Bears hosted a Tri with Adrian and Versailles on September 16. The Lady Bears continue to improve, shaving off another 11 strokes from their team best for a 220 team score. In addition, Gabbie Charmichael, Lyla Eldred, and Ashlynn Hannah scored personal bests. The Lady Bears were led by Juniors Gabbie Charmichael and Ashlynn Hannah with a 49 and 52 respectively; Lyla shot a 60, continuing to make improvements each day. Gabbie Charmichael also had her first birdie on Hole #7 with a bomb of a drive, a nice approach shot, and a chip in for a 3! Congratulations!! Overall results: Versailles Varsity - 1st Place, Adrian - 2nd Place, Butler - 3rd Place, Versailles JV - 4th Place. Also noteworthy, Versailles golfer Keanna Mims broke their school record shooting a 38 and winning the Tri. Adrian's Kennedy Bridges logged an albatross on #9, a very impressive 2 on a par 5! Congratulations to those young ladies. It was a great night at the Butler Country Club!

Both Junior High A and B Volleyball teams came up short tonight against Adrian and Sherwood. The Bears will look to regroup and bounce back this weekend in the OHC Tournament. 🏐🐻
