After getting up early, the Lady Bears softball team lost a heartbreaker to Windsor. The JV Lady Bears had a solid outing and ended in a tie.

On Friday night, March 25, Butler hosted the first outdoor track meet of the season and despite the cold weather, it was a great success!! We had outstanding help from our school staff, the McBrayer's worked their tails off in the concession stand, and we had some great performances by our athletes! With only 6 girls competing--they were able to finish 5th out of 15 schools! The boys had a very exciting meet and were battling back and forth for the first place position all the way to the end of the meet, and with only 14 competitors--they were able to finish in 2nd place behind Holden who had 111 points, Butler with 89 and Harrisonville finished in 3rd with 75. Points were given to the top 8 places and here are the results of the meet:

The Lady Bears softball team picked up their first win of the season defeating Green Ridge 18-12. They are currently 1-1 on the year. The JV Lady Bears also picked up the win.
