Promenade, Prom and After Prom Instructions and Time Line for Saturday, April 26, 2025
1. Promenade.
Promenade begins at 5 PM. Promenade participants need to be at the high school between 4:30 and 4:45 PM. Park in the teacher’s lot, the driveway in front of the main or office entrance. Doors to the school and the gym will be opened at 4:30 PM. Audience should park in the student lot or on the street.
After Prom bags (if you are attending) go to the auditorium. There will be people stationed there to accept the bags. Label your bag so that you know what belongs to you. The school is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
Line up for Promenade by 4:50 down the main hallway on a first come, first served basis. Couples/individuals will be given a card for names and how to pronounce names (if needed). Mr. Long is our Promenade announcer.
When you have finished your Promenade obligation, feel free to watch the remaining guests, or wait patiently in the Auditorium. When Promenade is over, we will dismiss to the Modern Brick.
You must participate in Promenade (or at least be here and checked in by 4:45) to participate in Prom. You do not have to walk in the Promenade, but you must be here and be checked in.
2. Prom.
Dinner is served at the Modern Brick at 6 PM. Be flexible on that time especially if Promenade runs over. After dinner comes some announcements, per tradition. Prom is scheduled to start at 7 PM, but again, be flexible. Things may run long.
3. After Prom.
Prom is over at 10:30. If one leaves Prom early, one can NOT attend After Prom. Once let out from Prom, After Prom attendees have until 10:45 to return to the high school. Once attendees have arrived, check in, change, then enjoy After Prom. You must attend all of Prom, Promenade, dinner, announcements, Prom itself until the end to attend After Prom.
Time Line
4:30 to 4:45—arrive at the school for Promenade, check in, drop off After Prom clothes
5:00 to 5:45—Promenade
6:00 to 7:00—Dinner at Modern Brick plus after dinner announcements
7:00 to 10:30—Prom
10:45 to 3:00AM—After Prom
