The Bears Scholar Bowl team hosted the first of the season Ozark Highlands Conference meet on Thursday, November 13, welcoming five schools: Adrian, Butler, El Dorado Springs, Sherwood, and Versailles. Butler fielded three teams for the event—Varsity, JV, and a Freshman team.

The Varsity Bears turned in an outstanding performance, finishing the meet with a perfect 3–0 record. They opened with a 480–50 win over Versailles, followed by a 390–120 victory against Sherwood, and closed out the night defeating El Dorado Springs 340–130.
Easton Woolace led all competitors with an impressive 390 toss-up points, highlighting a standout night for the team.

Competing in their first-ever high school meet, the Freshman Bears also found success, finishing 2–1 on the night.
Leading the way for the team was Zach Dimitt with 70 toss-up points, followed by Isabel Branson with 50 points and Anaih Ramirez with 20.

It was a great night of competition for all three Butler teams, and an exciting start to the OHC Scholar Bowl season.
