The Butler R-V school district enjoys a proud tradition of excellence in education and community pride. Butler R-V strives to provide a rich educational experience by offering challenging curricular offerings and a variety of extra curricular experiences that help produce well rounded, productive young adults. The community of Butler is a great place to live, and an even better place to raise a family. We are known as the "electric city" as we are the first community west of the Mississippi to offer residents electricity. Our area also has fascinating roots in the Civil War and many proclaim Bates County as the birthplace of this historic event.
